Algerian terror suspect faces prosecutor

first_imgA 33-year-old Algerian national arrested in connection with a deadly raid on a suspected Islamist cell in Belgium last week is set to appear before a prosecutor Tuesday at noon.Belgian authorities have requested his extradition on terrorism charges.Greek and Belgian authorities have said the man is not the suspected mastermind that communicated with cell members from a mobile phone in Greece.According to sources, the 33-year-old has been living in Greece since 2011 when he lodged an appeal for political asylum.
