first_img​Red Hughs GAA News:Senior MenThe men travelled to Ballintra on Saturday to take on Naomh Brid. Unfortunately the lads could not take advantage of playing with a strong breeze in the first half and went at the break all square 1-2 a piece. The Home side used the wind to their advantage in the second half and knocked over some long range points to take the points. The final score was Red Hughs 1-3 Naomh Brid 1-10The lads now travel to Letterkenny Gaels on Saturday Reserve throw in 6pm Senior 7.30pm.Under 12 Boys The boys travel to Buncranna on Tuesday in their opening fixture of the league. Throw in 6.30pm Good luck to the boys and managementUnder 14 BoysTraining continues for the boys on Friday evenings from 7-8pmUnder 16 BoysThe lads took on Urris in the quarter final of the division two league on Monday. The boys put in a great performance against a very strong Urris side and made them work hard for the victory. The final score was Red Hughs 1-2 Urris 1-14Minor Boys The lads training continues on Sundays at 12 noonUnder 14 GirlsThe girls travel to take on Glenfin in their second game of their league this Tuesday evening having beaten Robert Emmets last week the girls will be hoping for a repeat performance this time out. Throw in 7pmTraining on Wednesday at 6.15pm Under 12 GirlsThe girls had a great victory over Mc Cumhaills on Sunday morning in Ballybofey. It was a great team performance from start to finish. This will be for all boys and girls from u6s up to u10s and u12 boys. This year we will be collecting €2 per child and no more than €5 per family for the use of the facilities to train. This money will go straight back into the underage training funds.Any parent/guardian that may be willing to help out on Saturday mornings please don’t hesitate to contact any of the coaches on the morning of the training.​Ceile DancingThe Ceile dancing continues every Tuesday evening at 8pm in the club house .
