When we first showed our parents, I think they were “very supportive” but a bit worried for both of us.Our official opening Date was Monday January 17th, 1999. I remember having three soft openings and then telling all my family and friends, “Please don’t come in on Monday”!!! Well they all came in, the place was packed, the order printer in the kitchen was singing, the staff was like a deer in headlights, I was working the grill in the kitchen, we really sucked and I could not wait for closing time – I cried!!!Well, not much has changed. (Just kidding!!!!!!!)And, while it hasn’t been the easiest 16 years of my life, it has been many things; Challenging, Rewarding, Eye Opening, Fun, Challenging, Hair Raising, Crazy, Tear Jerking, Loads of Laughs, Spiritual, Liver Damaging and Fun, Fun and More Fun!!!We are blessed to have a great staff both on the floor and kitchen as well as a solid Managing crew. We have a great food menu, awesome beers, wonderful wines and great cocktails.We do awesome parties and events – including St Baldrick’s; St. Patrick’s Day; Oktoberfest, the Songwriter Serenade on Tuesdays, Summer Concerts; Weddings; Birthdays, Celebrations of Life; Corporate Caterings and so much more.The Entire Crew from Matt Denny’s also want to Thank You for all your support over the years. It has been a “lovely cruise” so far and we are looking forward to many more years serving you!!And, many thanks to my family for all their support over the years. Biden and GOP senators offer competing COVID-19 relief plans

first_imgWASHINGTON (AP) — President Joe Biden and a group of 10 Senate Republicans are offering competing proposals to help the United States respond to the coronavirus pandemic and provide economic relief to businesses and families. The president met with the senators on Monday at the White House.  White House press secretary Jen Psaki is describing the meeting as “an exchange of ideas” and not a forum for Biden to “make or accept an offer.” The topline numbers are this: Biden’s plan calls for an additional $1.9 trillion in federal spending. The 10 GOP senators are calling for about $618 billion.last_img read more
